Port St. Lucie scored the most points they've had this season on Tuesday, but it wasn't enough. They received a blow as they fell 80-65 to the Martin County Tigers. The Jaguars have struggled against the Tigers recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

Several Jaguars players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Cooper Graham, who went 5 of 9 on his way to 13 points along with six boards and three steals. Graham is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed three or more in the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Daniel Alexis, who went 5 for 10 on his way to 14 points and five rebounds.

Ari Smith was his usual excellent self, going 8 of 9 on his way to 18 points and seven rebounds for Martin County. Brandon James-WIlkins was another key player, putting up 12 points.

Port St. Lucie's loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Martin County, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 7-0.

After both having extra time off, Port St. Lucie and Central will shake off the cobwebs and take on one another at 7:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025. Martin County and True North Classical Academy will compete for holiday cheer at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
