Baseball Recap: Timpson Comes Up Short

Timpson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 7-4 to the Woden Eagles. The Bears were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in March of 2024.

Timpson's defeat dropped their record down to 8-4. As for Woden, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Timpson will face off against Chireno at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Woden, they will challenge Gary at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Gary's pitching crew has only allowed 3.5 runs per game this season, so Woden's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
