Basketball Recap: Castlewood Comes Up Short

Castlewood lost against Hurley back in December of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Castlewood Blue Devils were beaten by the Hurley Rebels 67-25. The matchup marked the Blue Devils' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Castlewood has been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine contests, which has put a noticeable dent in their 4-13 record this season. As for Hurley, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-11.

Castlewood does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Hurley, they have already played their next match, a 67-25 win against Varsity Opponent on the 13th.
