After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Kansas City Christian School, Central Heights was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Waverly Bulldogs, sneaking past 44-41. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Vikings have posted since February 12, 2024.

Central Heights' victory bumped their record up to 2-13. As for Waverly, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost eight of their last ten games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 2-13-2 record this season.
