Justin Jean Louis Crosses Big Stat Threshold
On Friday, Gateway had to settle for second even though Justin Jean Louis put up the best numbers he has all season. Jean Louis rushed for 278 yards and a touchdown while picking up 10.3 yards per carry. He's now once again averaging 100+ rushing yards (105.7) per game. His longest rush was for an incredible 97 yards.
Gateway dropped their record down to 1-7 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season. Jean Louis and Gateway will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Cape Coral at 7:30 p.m. on November 1st.

Parrish Community Wins Third-Straight Thanks to Jermaine Edwards
Parrish Community picked up their third consecutive win on Saturday thanks in part to Jermaine Edwards. Edwards' rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 144 rushing yards dating back to last season.
Parrish Community pushed their record up to 6-1 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. Edwards and Parrish Community will take on Lakewood Ranch at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
