Basketball Recap: Stanley County Comes Up Short

Stanley County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 14th straight defeat. They received a blow as they fell 44-28 to the Gregory Gorillas. The Buffalos were probably out for revenge after losing 51-41 to them when the teams met back in January of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Stanley County's loss dropped their record down to 1-14. As for Gregory, their win ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-11.

Stanley County wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 61-31 defeat against Crow Creek on the 30th. As for Gregory, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 48-40 victory against Jones County on the 31st.
