Football Recap: Shadow Ridge Sets Scoring Season-High Against Del Sol

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Shadow Ridge). They really took it to the Del Sol Dragons for the full four quarters, racking up a 52-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Mustangs, who have now won nine games by 20 points or more so far this season.

Aubree Davis was her usual excellent self, throwing for 229 yards and six touchdowns while completing 76.5% of her passes. What's more, she also racked up 157.5 passer rating, the most she's had since back in December of 2024. Jaylani Palmer was another key player, picking up 96 receiving yards and two touchdowns.

Shadow Ridge pushed their record up to 14-2 with the win, which was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 35.8 points per game. As for Del Sol, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-8.

Shadow Ridge will welcome Coral Academy of Science Las Vegas at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Shadow Ridge's defense has only allowed 7.5 points per game this season, so Coral Academy of Science Las Vegas' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Del Sol, they are taking a road trip to challenge Sunrise Mountain at 4:30 p.m. on January 24th.
