Basketball Recap: Osawatomie Comes Up Short

Osawatomie was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 64-27 to the Wellsville Eagles, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. While losing is never fun, the Trojans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Kansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 341st, while the Eagles are ranked 129th).

Osawatomie's defeat dropped their record down to 0-14-3. As for Wellsville, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Anderson County the next time they take the court. Wellsville will head out to face Anderson County at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, while Osawatomie will host them on Tuesday.
