Soccer Recap: Zionsville Falls Short of Carmel in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Zionsville can now relate to. They fell just short of the Carmel Greyhounds by a score of 1-0 on Wednesday. The loss was Zionsville's first of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Zionsville fell to 10-1-6. As for Carmel, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-2-1 record this season.

Zionsville does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Carmel, they will square off against Cathedral at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Carmel will need to watch out since Cathedral have now posted at least four goals in their last three matchups.
