Baseball Recap: Carver Montgomery Has No Trouble Against Bullock County

Carver Montgomery never let their opponents score on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Bullock County Hornets with a sharp 15-0 win.

Jaron Williams made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Williams was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in two of his three plate appearances.

In other batting news, Jerome Price was a standout: he scored three runs and stole four bases while going 2-for-2. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in runs. Another player making a difference was Aaron Reese, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-2.

The victory got Carver Montgomery back to even at 1-1. As for Bullock County, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.
