St. Helena and Willits are an even 4-4 against one another  since November of 2015, but  not for long. The Saints will welcome the Wolverines  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Willits will be up against a hot St. Helena  team: the  squad just extended their winning streak to eight. The Saints blew past Clear Lake 36-7  on Friday. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since October 29, 2021, but that streak is no more.

St. Helena can attribute much of their success to   Julian Earls, who rushed for 88 yards and a pair of  scores on only 11 carries, and   Jhony Covarrubias, who rushed for 62 yards and two  touchdowns on only eight carries. The Saints also got a significant boost from  Eric Torres, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 91 yards.
 They were just one part of a punishing run game: St. Helena was unstoppable on the ground and  finished the game with 338  rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  rushed for at least 189  rushing yards in five consecutive  contests.
 St. Helena's defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB  five times. The heavy lifting was done by  Tristan Mowe and  Ben Brakesman, who racked up  four sacks between them.
 Meanwhile, Willits never let their opponents score on Friday. They blew past Cloverdale, posting  a  47-0 win. The Wolverines have beaten the Eagles the last three times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Eagles has come to flipping the script.
 Willits' victory bumped their record up to 7-1. As for St. Helena, their win bumped their record up to 8-0.
 St. Helena came up short against Willits in their previous matchup  back in September of 2024, falling  20-14. Can the Saints avenge their  loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
