Basketball Recap: Schoharie Takes a Loss

Schoharie lost against Berne-Knox-Westerlo back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Schoharie Storm took a blow against the Berne-Knox-Westerlo Bulldogs, falling 68-29. While losing is never fun, the Storm can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 605th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 199th).

Schoharie dropped their record down to 2-7 with the loss, which was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Berne-Knox-Westerlo, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Schoharie will welcome Middleburgh at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Berne-Knox-Westerlo, they will be playing at home against Galway at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
