Bangor came tearing into Friday's matchup with seven straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7.3 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They put the hurt on the Salisbury Township Falcons with a sharp 8-0 win. Considering the Slaters have won five contests by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Bangor's record is now 8-4. As for Salisbury Township, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-7 record this season.

Bangor will head out to challenge Pocono Mountain East at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Salisbury Township, they will look to defend their home field on Saturday against William Allen at 11:00 a.m. The Canaries have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 16.63 runs per game on average), something the Falcons will no doubt try to take advantage of.
