Basketball Recap: Edinburg/South Fork Takes a Loss

Edinburg/South Fork was the 62-56 winner over Auburn when they last played one another back in November of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Edinburg/South Fork Ponies took a 47-36 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Auburn Trojans on Thursday. The Ponies have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Edinburg/South Fork's record now sits at 9-7. As for Auburn, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 8-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Edinburg/South Fork will venture away from home to take on Shelbyville at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Auburn, they are taking a road trip to challenge Hillsboro at 7:15 p.m. on Monday.
