East Bladen is 8-2 against Clinton since April of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. After both having extra time off, the two teams will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Wednesday, East Bladen came up short against Whiteville and fell 5-1. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

East Bladen saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Niyah Wooten, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base.

Clinton couldn't beat St. Pauls last Wednesday even though they stacked four runs on them in the first inning. The Dark Horses came up short against the Bulldogs, falling 17-7. The Dark Horses have struggled against the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost meeting.

East Bladen's loss dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Clinton, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-12.

East Bladen skirted past Clinton 5-4 when the teams last played back in March of 2024. Do the Eagles have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Dark Horses turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
