After having lost a blowout in their previous game against St. Ursula Academy, Sycamore was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Oak Hills Highlanders. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Aviators as it put an end to their six-game losing streak.

Sycamore had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 19-25, 25-15, 25-19, 25-21.

Ari Demaris had a dynamite game for Sycamore, getting 32 digs and three kills. Demaris is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 12 or more in the last four games she's played.

Sycamore's victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 12-10. As for Oak Hills, their loss ended a nine-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 16-6.
