Volleyball Recap: Marion Harding Takes a Loss

If Marion Harding was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Whitehall-Yearling on Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Presidents came up short against the Pleasant Spartans on Tuesday, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Spartans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on September 4th.

The final score came out to 25-10, 25-14, 25-11.

Ellie Schneider paced Marion Harding's offense, picking up four kills. Schneider got some help from Brooklynn Johnson and her five assists.

Leading Pleasant to victory were Macy Hamper and Siri Veladanda. Hamper had 22 assists and four digs, while Veladanda had seven digs and two assists. That's the most digs Hamper has posted over her last eight contests.

Marion Harding dropped their record down to 5-15 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight at home. As for Pleasant, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 19-0.
