Basketball Recap: Ethel Takes a Loss

After flying high against Clarkdale last Friday, Ethel came back down to earth. The Ethel Tigers lost 44-24 to the Noxapater Tigers on Tuesday. Ethel was not able to make up for their defeat to Noxapater from their previous meeting back in February of 2024.

Ethel's loss dropped their record down to 8-6. As for Noxapater, they moved to 5-11 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ethel will host Nanih Waiya at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Noxapater, they will welcome Velma Jackson at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
