Coleman Barnett put up the most strikeouts he's had since back in March on Tuesday. He wasn't messing around, striking out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits (and only one walk). The pitching appearance was his fourth straight with two or fewer walks.

Barnett's strong effort led Marion over West Memphis and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Patriots are a perfect 10-0 against the Blue Devils going back to April of 2021, a lead they'll look to extend.
