Soccer Recap: Cocoa Starts off Right with Win over Palm Bay

Cocoa had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They never let the Palm Bay Pirates get on the board and left with a 5-0 victory on Thursday. It was an even better day for Brissa Slingsby as she scored three goals for her team.

Palm Bay's loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Cocoa will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Atlantic at 6:00 p.m. on the 17th. As for Palm Bay, they will be playing at home against Heritage at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
