Schurr is 9-1 against San Gabriel since October of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Spartans will square off against the Matadors at 5:15 p.m. San Gabriel took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Schurr, who comes in off a win.

Schurr is headed into the match having just posted their closest win since September 5th on Saturday. They had just enough and edged out Poly 1-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Spartans.

Meanwhile, after a string of 14 wins, San Gabriel's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They fell just short of Taft by a score of 1-0. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Matadors haven't been shut out since back in August.

Schurr's victory bumped their record up to 9-17. As for San Gabriel, their loss dropped their record down to 18-6.

Schurr came up short against San Gabriel in their previous meeting on September 11th, falling 3-1. Can the Spartans avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
