Soccer Recap: Bishop Canevin Comes Up Short

Bishop Canevin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They came up short against the Carlynton Cougars, falling 3-0. The match was up for grabs at halftime, but sadly Bishop Canevin struggled afterwards.

Bishop Canevin's loss dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Carlynton, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-11-2.

When Bishop Canevin and Carlynton next hit the pitch, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Bishop Canevin will take on Aquinas Academy and their three-game winning streak at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Carlynton will try to stop Our Lady of the Sacred Heart's eight-game winning streak when they meet at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
