Cass Tech (Detroit, Mich.) showed why he's the nation's top-rated receiver Saturday afternoon.
Peoples-Jones and the Technicians trailed Utica Eisenhower (Shelby Township) 28-24 with less than 30 seconds to go in the Michigan Division 1 state semifinals.
Cass Tech went in the direction of the nation's No. 11 overall prospect and he delivered.
An incredible catch helped the Technicians advance with a 32-28 victory. Peoples finished with eight receptions for 93 yards and the TD.
The Technicians will battle Detroit Catholic Central next Saturday for the state championship.
