Softball Recap: Mt. Baker's Victory on Wednesday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Darrington typically has all the answers at home, but on Wednesday Mt. Baker proved too difficult a challenge. They were the clear victors by a 13-1 margin over the Loggers. Winning may never get old, but the Mountaineers sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Mt. Baker's victory bumped their record up to 14-8. As for Darrington, their defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-4.

Mt. Baker does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Darrington, they will face off against Concrete at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Lions have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 19.89 runs per game on average), something the Loggers will no doubt try to take advantage of.
