Basketball Recap: Eight Straight Home Wins for Fox Chapel

Fox Chapel had won seven straight home games and Caden Kaiser did his part to make it eight on Friday. The Fox Chapel Foxes snuck past the Woodland Hills Wolverines with a 52-46 win thanks in part to Kaiser, who went 13 of 18 en route to 32 points along with six rebounds and three steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Fox Chapel's points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Max Melocchi, who posted two points and six boards. That's the most rebounds he has posted since back in December of 2023.

Fox Chapel's victory bumped their record up to 13-4. As for Woodland Hills, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last 12 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-10 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Fox Chapel will welcome North Allegheny at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Woodland Hills, they will challenge Butler at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
