Softball Recap: Hackett Catholic Prep Comes Up Short

Hackett Catholic Prep lost to Decatur on Friday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Fighting Irish came up short against the Raiders, falling 20-3. The Fighting Irish have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Hackett Catholic Prep's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Decatur, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hackett Catholic Prep will welcome Comstock at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Colts have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 20.67 runs per game on average), something the Fighting Irish will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Decatur, they will face off against Bangor at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
