Neuse Charter had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Monday. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the South Garner Titans.

Neuse Charter was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 19-25, 25-15, 20-25, 25-12, 15-9.

Layla Johnson paced Neuse Charter's offense, picking up 16 kills. Johnson got some help from Ella Highfil and her 17 assists. Ahnala Temple and Sloane Smith kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with three aces apiece.

Neuse Charter's victory bumped their record up to 6-4. As for South Garner, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-10.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Neuse Charter will square off against Research Triangle at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for South Garner, they will welcome Garner at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
