Baseball Recap: Marion County Comes Up Short

Marion County was the 11-6 winner over La Plata when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Mustangs came up short against the Bulldogs on Saturday, falling 11-3. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Marion County's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. As for La Plata, their win bumped their record up to 3-7.

Marion County wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 12-2 loss against Green City on the 16th. As for La Plata, they have also already played their next match, an 8-4 defeat against Schuyler County on the 15th.
