Flag Football Recap: Rockmart Takes a Loss

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Rockmart's offense. They had to suffer through a 46-0 loss at the hands of the Heard County Braves. While losing is never fun, the Yellowjackets can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia flag football rankings (they are ranked 203rd, while the Braves are ranked 33rd).

Rockmart's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Heard County, their victory bumped their record up to 5-0.

Looking ahead, Rockmart will take on LaGrange at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Heard County, they will square off against Landmark Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Braves 3.8, the War Eagles 5.4) so any points scored will be well earned.
