Fluvanna County is headed into Thursday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their eighth straight game on Tuesday. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of Louisa County.

Meanwhile, Monticello kept a clean sheet against Orange County on Monday. They won by a goal and slipped past the Fighting Hornets 1-0.

Monticello is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season. As for Fluvanna County, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-13-1.
