Basketball Game Preview: International Falls Broncos vs. Mesabi East Giants

The International Falls Broncos will take on the Mesabi East Giants at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday.

International Falls is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 64 points on Thursday, they were much more limited against Chisholm on Saturday. They were outmatched by the Bluestreaks and fell 61-30. The loss continues a trend for the Broncos in their matchups with the Bluestreaks: they've now lost six in a row.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Mesabi East). They took their matchup on Friday with ease, bagging a 105-47 win over Floodwood. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.

The win made it two in a row for Mesabi East and bumps their season record up to 5-11. As for International Falls, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-16.
