Baseball Recap: Lafayette Jefferson Takes a Loss

Lafayette Jefferson has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging four runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Saturday. They lost 10-4 to the Twin Lakes Indians. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Bronchos have suffered since May 16, 2024.

Lafayette Jefferson saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Asa Ritchie, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one double. That double was Ritchie's first of the season. Another was Mason Pechin, who went 1-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.

Lafayette Jefferson's loss dropped their record down to 10-5. As for Twin Lakes, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-5.
