Basketball Recap: Carter Takes a Loss

For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Carter and Powell meet (four straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Saturday. The Green Hornets took a hard 66-50 fall against the Panthers. That's two games in a row now that the Green Hornets have lost by exactly 16 points.

Carter's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Carter wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 68-63 loss against Knoxville Central on the 22nd. As for Powell, they are taking a road trip to challenge William Blount at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
