Softball Recap: Eastern Greene Thunderbirds vs. Clay City Eels
Eastern Greene extended their losing streak to nine on Thursday, dropping them down to 2-14. They lost 19-3 to the Clay City Eels. The Thunderbirds were not able to make up for their loss to the Eels from their previous meeting back in May of 2025.
Kayleigh Perry was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI. That double marked the first that she has hit this season. Makayla Singh was another key player, earning one RBI and two stolen bases.
