Ingomar was handed a heart-breaking three-point defeat in their last game, but they sure didn't let that happen against Belmont on Thursday. Everything went the Ingomar Falcons' way against the Belmont Cardinals as the Ingomar Falcons made off with a 56-36 win. The Falcons have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 18 contests by 20 points or more this season.

Macie Phifer was her usual excellent self, going 7 for 11 on her way to 20 points and seven rebounds. The match was her sixth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Daylen Grisham, who went 7 of 13 en route to 15 points.

Ingomar's victory was their eighth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 22-2. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 25.2 points. As for Belmont, their loss ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 19-4.

Ingomar won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Water Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Ingomar is facing Water Valley at the right time seeing as Water Valley is stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Belmont, a feisty cat fight is on tap when the Belmont Cardinals duke it out with the Deshler Tigers on Saturday.
