Last Tuesday, Brighton Charter suffered a rough 46-24 loss at the hands of Ville de Marie Academy. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Brighton Charter in their matchups with Ville de Marie Academy: they've now lost five in a row.
Despite the defeat, Brighton Charter had strong showings from Jadyn Mark, who scored nine points, and Dylan Mastrapasqua, who scored seven points.
Paradise Valley Christian Prep played against Trinity Christian and lost via forfeit.
Brighton Charter bumped their record down to 1-5 with that loss, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 27.2 points per game. As for Paradise Valley Christian Prep, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-6 record this season.
