Football Recap: Valley Comes Up Short

Valley and Shelby County squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Valley had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Wildcats by a score of 26-23.

Caden Foreman threw for 53 yards on six of 25 attempts. Brandez Eason was his top target, picking up 46 receiving yards.

Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Shelby County, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 7-4.

Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Shelby County, they will challenge Montgomery Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
