Volleyball Recap: Edison Comes Up Short

After flying high against Catholic Central on Saturday, Edison came back down to earth. The Wildcats came up short against the Indian Creek Redskins on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The Wildcats have struggled against the Redskins recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

Edison was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-22, 25-19.

Aliya Glover paced Edison's offense, picking up five kills. Glover got some help from Sophia Henderson and her nine assists. Henderson was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Edison's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Indian Creek, their win bumped their record up to 3-4.

Edison didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-2 defeat against Buckeye Local on the 3rd. As for Indian Creek, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 3-2 loss against Harrison Central on the 4th.
