Volleyball Recap: St. Francis Comes Up Short

St. Francis was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Wallace County Wildcats. Unfortunately, that's the fourth time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, with their most recent defeat being a 2-0 loss on Saturday.

The defeat didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Wallace County scored at least 17 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-19.

St. Francis' loss dropped their record down to 6-27-2. As for Wallace County, their victory ended a three-match drought on the road and puts them at 11-19-1.

St. Francis has already played their next match (against Triplains/Brewster), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Wallace County, they will square off against Thunder Ridge on Tuesday.
