Dunnellon has gone 6-1 against Umatilla recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Dunnellon Tigers will venture away from home to face off against the Umatilla Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

It was a proper cat-fight when Dunnellon challenged Forest on Wednesday. Dunnellon fell 42-35 to Forest. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 287th, while the Wildcats are ranked 110th).

Umatilla played against Mount Dora Christian Academy and lost via forfeit.

Umatilla's defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Dunnellon, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-9 record this season.

Dunnellon beat Umatilla 53-43 in their previous meeting back in January of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for Dunnellon since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
