Football Recap: Perry Comes Up Short

Perry was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were dealt a 47-0 loss at the hands of the Fowler Eagles. While losing is never fun, the Ramblers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan football rankings (they are ranked 441st, while the Eagles are ranked 131st).

Tyger Whitbeck threw for 97 yards on nine of 15 attempts. Alex Rockafellow was his top target, picking up 69 receiving yards. On the ground, JT Lynch rushed for 33 yards.

Perry's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Fowler, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-1.
