Basketball Recap: Mascenic Regional Piles Up the Points Against Epping

Mascenic Regional hadn't done well against Epping recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. The Mascenic Regional Vikings claimed a resounding 48-18 victory over the Epping Blue Devils. That 30 point margin sets a new team best for the Vikings this season.

The win (which was Mascenic Regional's third in a row) raised their record to 4-11. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 29.3 points over those games. As for Epping, they dropped their record down to 0-15 with the loss, which was their eighth straight at home.

Coming up, Mascenic Regional is taking a road trip to face off against Portsmouth Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Epping has already played their next matchup (against Sunapee), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
