Softball Recap: Chaparral Takes a Loss

Chaparral kicked off their season on the road on Monday and hit a couple of potholes. They lost 13-2 to the Kingman/Norwich Eagles. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it four in a row.

Chaparral saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Emily Harding, who scored a run while going 1-for-3. Another was Parker Tessendorf, who got on base in both of her plate appearances with two stolen bases.

The victory got Kingman/Norwich back to even at 1-1.

Looking ahead, Chaparral will challenge Douglass at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Kingman/Norwich, they will take on Conway Springs at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
