Recap: Jackson Timberwolves vs. North Creek Jaguars

The Jackson Timberwolves managed to keep up with the North Creek Jaguars until halftime on Monday, but things quickly went downhill from there. Jackson was the victim of a tough 60-40 defeat at the hands of North Creek. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Jackson has scored all season.

North Creek's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Mikah Hammerquist, who scored 20 points along with three steals. Hammerquist continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Seirat Bhullar, who scored 18 points along with six assists and four steals.

Jackson's loss was their third straight at home, which bumped their record down to 9-6. As for North Creek, their win bumped their record up to 9-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Jackson will take on Mariner at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Mariner is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'. As for North Creek, they will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Mount Si at 5:45 p.m. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Washington (Mount Si is ranked 102nd, while North Creek is ranked 121st).
