There's no place like home for Wilkes Central, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the West Caldwell Warriors with a sharp 3-0 win on Thursday. The victory continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Warriors: they've now won five in a row.

The win didn't come easy: West Caldwell scored at least 20 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-20, 26-24.

The victory got Wilkes Central back to even at 2-2. As for West Caldwell, their loss was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-4.
