Basketball Recap: Heartland Takes a Loss

After soaring to 56 points the game before, Heartland was a bit more limited in their match on Tuesday. They were beaten by the Sutton Mustangs 65-24. The Huskies have struggled against the Mustangs recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.

Heartland lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Ariane Sololuze, who posted four points.

Heartland now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Sutton, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Heartland is taking a road trip to challenge Riverside at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Sutton, they will host McCool Junction at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
