Softball Recap: Bradford Owls vs. Clearfield Bison        
        
		
            
 Bradford was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight  defeat. They fell just short of the Clearfield Bison by a score of  7-6. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Bradford of the  2-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture  back in May of 2023.
 For Clearfield's part,  Megan Wisor spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned  (and three unearned) runs on eight hits and racked up six Ks. Wisor has been consistent recently: she hasn't  pitched less than five  innings in six consecutive pitching appearances.
 On the hitting side,  Madi McBride was  incredible,  scoring three  runs while going 3-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of  Sam Campolong, who  scored a  run while going 3-for-4.
 Bradford's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Clearfield, their victory was  their fourth straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 8-10.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bradford will  take on Port Allegany at 4:30  p.m.  on Wednesday. As for Clearfield, they will head out on the road to  challenge  Punxsutawney at 4:30  p.m.  on Wednesday. Punxsutawney will roll in looking for their  fifth straight  win, something Clearfield surely won't give up without a fight.
