Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Alpine). They took down the Anthony Wildcats 41-22 on Friday. The victory continues a trend for the Bucks in their matchups with the Wildcats: they've now won seven in a row.

Although Anthony took the loss, they still got scores from Anthony Sanchez, Joey VanErt, and Reyes Ontiveros.

Alpine's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-4. As for Anthony, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Alpine will take on rival Crane at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Anthony is set to challenge their familiar foe Compass Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
