Basketball Recap: Manchester's Losing Streak Snapped at Seven Games

Manchester can finally bid farewell to their seven-game losing streak dating back to last season thanks to their game on Friday. They walked away with a 46-34 victory over the Sand Creek Aggies. The Flying Dutchmen have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Aggies, too.

Manchester's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-6. As for Sand Creek, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Manchester and Imlay City will round out the year against one another at at 1:00 p.m. on Friday. Imlay City will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Manchester surely won't give up without a fight. As for Sand Creek, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Addison at 7:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025. Sand Creek is facing Addison at the right time seeing as Addison is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
