Elizabeth put their dominant pitcher on display in the team's fourth consecutive shutout on Saturday. They never let the Woodland Park Panthers get on the board and left with a 10-0 victory. Considering the Cardinals have won 12 matchups by more than five runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Trevor Bertsch was a standout: he went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one triple. Those two stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Tristan O'Neal was another key player, going 1-for-2 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one run.

Elizabeth was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .391. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .391 or higher in six consecutive games.

Elizabeth's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-3. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for Woodland Park, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 13-4.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Elizabeth beat the Panthers by a score of 10-0 later that day.
